This colour has captured the hearts of the Instagram generation and interior designers alike. Millennial Pink provides a fantastic way of introducing a feeling of serenity and fun to any space. The brilliant thing about pink is that it can be cold or warm. The more muted pinks hark back to the 1950s. They work wonderfully with other similar colours like teal and greys, which have a vintage feel to them. Hot pinks add a bit of spice to an interior and are a subtler way of adding drama to a room if red is not your thing.
The reason this fresh contemporary style dining room was designed in this striking modern style was that it formed part of a new rear extension with Bi-fold doors leading onto the rear garden. Light streams in through the back of the property, thus allowing a strong vibrant fuchsia pink colour to be used as the feature wall. The Italian clear glass pendant lights complement the white gloss family dining table with Aram chairs in black and white. Art bought from galleries in London give it a charming and welcoming look and the sculptural black ceramic vintage vase with fresh cherry blossom creates a stunning backdrop for family entertaining.
